I have been given a replacement top vent from my local dealer. This is supposed to be user replaceable. However, they did not know how to do it. I have searched on the web but found nothing and dont want to break the lid.
Can anyone give me some advice on how to remove and replace the top vent?
Slide a credit card (old one preferably) under the top vent & sought of ease it up it is fairly tight coming off tho', once the vent is off the base plate is held on with tiny screws iirc. When you refit the vent it does seem to make some horrible creaking noises & takes a bit of force Had mine replaced by Hein Gericke & watched the guy do it. I'd probably take it to a shoei dealer tho' just in case, it is doable just depends how brave you are..
I've got a Neotec and but now the sun has started to come ou, I've noticed that the sun visor mists really easily. Anyone got a good tip to try and reduce this?
