Went in to HG yesterday to look at the boots............................and came out with a new helmet.
My arai astro r is getting to the end of its life, scratches, drops etc.
Great deal from HG, inc smoked pinlock visor
I can't believe the difference, sound (lack of), and improvment in airflow. And it's much lighter. A great bit of kit.
So with Tobinators on the screen to take away the buffeting, and the new Shoei..............................transformed the ride.

Thanks for the tip Gav. I have to replace my Shark RF? 2 Race and have found the XR1100 to be a similar fit. What's got my attention also is the extra peripheral vision afforded. I'll be getting mine this week.

whats the fit like compared to an arai?
ive got an aria chaser thats slowley dieing, its 4 years old and used everyday!
looking at the shoi but havnt had the cance to try one on yet, just wondered what it fitted like, as i have a round head a bought a shoi mulitech a few years ago and had to take it back as it was so uncomfortable when on the bike!
