Mrs Biscuit has a bad back and so struggles too (especially as she insits on top box
). I usually put the sidestand down (as a back-up only) and lean well forward over the tank (bike still vertical). Pillion always mounts from LHS. Kerbs are always saught, as is a suitably level area. Mrs B still struggles, but we manage. Getting her off after a hour or so is another exercise altogether. We're bound to be on YBF sometime 
Miss Biscuit (my youngest, only 21, light as a feather and a proffessional dancer) seems to just levitate whilst pointing at the sky with her foot. Mrs B (also ex-dancer) is very jealous
