I spent a happy hour or so this afternoon, assisting a friend in wiring up the LEDs on his new Acerbis handguards.

When I was comingback from the Peak District a Transalp came the other way with something similar - very noticeable.

Not for me, I would worry someone would mistake it for an indicator. A driver may only have a view of one hand guard or if one failed you could have the apperance of indicating to turn. this happened to me years ago when I brought a bike from the USA with the always on indicator lights.
The right light failed and a car pulled out if front of me thinking I was turning left.
Nice bike by the way, I have a hankering for one of these.

Similarly, the first time I saw the new 5 series BMW was just from the side - it took me a good few seconds to decide whether the extra light on the far outside edge of the light cluster was either a faulty indicator or the running light.

They look like a feckin' Christmas tree.

Give it time, HMG will demand that we have them fitted.
