Aye, snapped the fecker within 30 miles of delivery

To be fair Stratstone are coming to collect it on Monday and will replace the belt no questions asked. The issue is that, with 38K on the clock, I'm guessing it needs new pulleys. We'll have to negotiate on that ;)

At least I get a new belt fitted by a main dealer for free, and it happened outside my sister's house. I was stranded in a centrally heated house with tea and cake on tap :D

On the downside I've snapped the belt on both of my Harleys now, which isn't so good. It'll not stop me riding HD's and I won't be going for chain conversions, but it's not good :(

Harly Big Twins I have owned

The Harley Big Twins I have owned over the years, currently have the 95 Ultra Classic, prefer the riding position and mechanics of pre Twin Cam bikes. Sorry about quality of some pictures the photos did not digitise very well.

Sportsters

Do not actually have any Sportsters at the moment, had the 05 Sportster last year a 883 with 1200 conversion, went well, smooth (rubber mount), riding position did not suit me, or the previous owner, too low (we are too old!).
