Show us your Harley

...is there a 'sensible' Harley website for people who want to do miles on them ?

Not that I know of... :D

The Harley Riders Club of GB is quite good...

But I've never fitted in to the whole HD thing,

And I've been riding them since 1989 :augie

FFS guys get a grip.

An HD is just a bike like any other. Some are good and some are bodged, if you can't tell the difference you shouldn't be in the market.

There's more BS talked about the 2nd hand market for HDs than there is for drugs. If you want in then buy something, don't stand in the wings peddling BS and waving in a gay way ;)

Just had a thought

are they metric yet ?

if not, surely they must be the only thing made that isnt :nenau

I purchased this 2004 FXDXI new in 2005. Added the solo saddle, rack, removable bags, stage 1, and driving lights. Put 18,000 miles on it then sold it to buy my 09 FLHT. I later regretted selling it. The guy that bought it called a couple days ago and asked if I wanted to buy it back for $500 under low book price. Needless to say I did. He put less than 2,000 miles on it. Great to have it back!

i got my old growler home today

$11K paid , staintune st st pipes, full years rego, 135K miles, runs like new, looks like new and $290 fully comp.

I can't work it out - the discs, the seats and sidecases look like they are brand new and the bike is 16 yrs old. (2005)

Only problem i can find is neutral is hard to get at a standstill :nenau
