So in the absence of bring able to buy an extender to make the bike stand up at a better angle on the side stand I drafted my pal in who builds military bridges.
Did a template of the side stand foot plate , 24 hours later an amazing piece of high quality billeted aluminium with two holes drilled, chamfered lower edge and pre sunk underneath for the steel bolt/nut.
I've just stuck a bit of rubber on the base. Lovely thing and at 1 3/4 inches raises the bike to a much better angle . Got a couple of pics on my phone but can't manage to get them to post. :blast

Lovely teardrop shape and matched the stand foot perfectly ...:D

your retired you should be in the garage with your angle grinder making stuff ....................now get to it

Most folk just screw a piece of hardwood on using the two screw holes in the stand

I saw a Ducati at a small bike show in Plymouth years ago with a block of wood an the bottom of it's stand. The owner was a local lotto winner. He had won £6,000,000 pounds and shared it with his mate who promised with him that if either ever won, they would share. I guess after suffering the loss of £3,000,000 he could not afford to have a nice stand made.

The same chap couldn't push the bike out of a small gap when he was leaving so I did it for him. :blast

1 3/4 inches seems a lot -are you sure it's not going to be too vertical when loaded with camping kit etc.

Look forward to seeing the photos.
