Sightings of hens teeth

Don't see many LCs around, less so on my daily commute in and out of London.

Spotted a red LC on Charing Cross Road last night. Looked very, very clean. Made me think I should perhaps clean mine. There I thought about it.

They are all in the Alps. The distinctive LED light is a common sight in them there hills.

Go to Wollastons, I was there a couple of days ago and they had one then!

Rare indeed. In 1100 miles of riding I've only seen a couple so far.

I struggled to escape from two guys yesterday who wanted to chat whilst parked up in the town centre ( I was in a rush otherwise I'll waffle for hours ). First time either of them had seen one. They were of course mighty impressed!

People keep approaching me to talk about the bike as they haven't seen many (or any), but I try to get away as I don't like talking to strangers

I had a similar experience I parked in my town centre, and a guy who had a GS 1150 was looking mine over when I returned to it, we had a chat for a while, He was very impressed and was going to book a test ride.
Apart from that ive seen one riding through in my Home town.

The local dealer to me has sold 40 so they are about somewhere.

On several rides recently round Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, Dorchester I have seen not a single LC.....

Was in CW Dorchester yesterday all afternoon..... didn't see any... all stock sold... and none onsite when I was there. In fact, one brand new one came in in a crate....but was already a back order for a customer.

There aren't that many around, but give it time and it'll change.

What is really surprising is how the 1150s have "disappeared" from all the main BMW main agents..... which is a pity if they've all gone so soon. Probably mostly being serviced by franchisers/independents nowadays.
