Maybe a silly question but here goes anyway - If you are say in the alps , up a high pass and something goes wrong - will your phone work ? Taking a trip out to either the swiss alps or austria and just wondered

Can I get a phone signal all over The Black Country

Theres no way anyone could answer if it's possible to get a phone signal in the huge area you've described.

It doesn't matter anyway, all the roads will be teaming with tourists to help you

I was in the high alps this summer, and my phone worked perfectly. At least my wife, calling me ten times a day to nag me, seemed to get through ok. She has a Nagometer Booster though.

Swiss Alps, well, it wouldn't be Switzerland if things didn't work. Mobile phones work everywhere here, including the tunnels!
