Single or Twin Spark

Hi am a bit confused, re this Twin Spark & Single spark thing for the F650

I am looking at 2 Dakars
Dakar 2002 for £2795
Dakar 2003 for £3495

what i want to know are these single or twin spark, & what are the benefits/ loss of single over twin spark or vice versa.

I have tried to look it up but got lost with past forum posts

They'll both be single spark. Twin spark introduced for 2004. Twin spark smoother and more economical than the single spark ... otherwise identical
