on the road king how is it held in place?

On mine it is key operated at the side of the seat but mine is not standard (it's a Corbin). Although I would guess the mechanism is the same so there presumably will be a catch somewhere.

on mine the twin seat has a tab on the front and then its held in place with the strap which bolts to the chassis and a single bolt at the rear,so there is nothing else,dont want to buy a single if i need aload of bits to fit it
on mine ,its just two bolts at the back ,clearly visible ,and then a small tab at the front of the seat ,5 mins to get of if your slow ,or 2 mins if your quick
ok but where do these 2 bolts fit to?

any std seat should fit and there should be literally hundreds of used ones around - people fit more different types than they do to GS's...

I got a corbin from american ebay, £140 to my front door.
Supposedly to fit a 96> model but fitted straight onto my 92 bike with no diddling about.
