Well everything looks good for this run. To spice it up a bit i'll be using a mates CBX 1000 circa 1979. Took it out last weekend for a familiarisation ride and did a couple of hundred miles over the 2 days. No real sensation of acceleration, but boy does that engine rev!! Anyway if anyone is going, i'll see you there.

Maybe see you there - if the weather is ok I'll take the beast for a run. It's about an hours from where I live so could be fun. The weather forecast looks like it's going to be dry but cold - Saturday maybe only +3 degrees so bring your thermals Henry !!

Mind you having said that the wetaher forecasts are largely bollox but you never know - maybe this time it's close to reality.

Oh Dear me

Why won't guys read the manual. Went to final prep my mates CBX last night- no oil on dipstick. Takes over a litre to bring it up dipstick.
Ask's him today, and yes he screws the dipstick in to check level. Oop's, not on a Honda CBX 1000-6 you dont say's i. Hopefully will pick up the GS later, give it a quick fertle, load it up, and go down to Leicester tonight for a beer, before carrying on to Oostend tomorrow.
Now details are "R" reg blue GS1100 with GSclub John Deacon tribute sticker on rear deflector. Bright blue Kyham one-touch with union jack tee-shirt draped over it.See you there.
