Looking for a VRS, preferably Euro 6, maybe 5, prefer under 100k miles, probably 2016/17, not white, budget around £10,000, but could push that a bit for the right one. Just to add to the complications, I live in the Isle of Man, but I am across in the UK with a day and a half to look at possibilities on 10 Feb (pm) and 12 Feb (all day). Ferry arrival and departure is Heysham (Lancaster) and going over to Hull for a funeral on the 11th, so even better if it's somewhere not too far off that route (Preston/Liverpool/Manchester/Sheffield/Leeds, etc), although would drive further afield for a good one. There's one in Peterborough on Auto Trader that would be on the list if it's not sold by then......just not Aberdeen or Cornwall...

I might also be tempted by a Scout (the 4WD Octavia, not a member of the young person's organisation)

Just to add, the one I am outing is a Nissan Pathfinder, 2007, 2.5 diesel, a bit shabby cosmetically, but sound mechanically, just serviced, silver, manual, towbar, on a Manx reg (but easy enough to re-register), currently just under 100,000 miles, but this trip will take it over, if anyone is looking for one? I suppose I should do a different thread, but I don't really think I'm going to sell a car of that value in the UK.

Hi Neil,
My son-in-law is selling this VRS due to getting a new company EV.
I know you said not white and 10K but thought might be of interest as you would be hard pushed to find a better one.
He has had this car for over 6 years and keeps it in absolute pristine condition.
Anyway, just thought might be worth a look. Good luck with your search, they are great cars :) (y)

Not sure why the marketplace link is in German!

He's advertised it as a 1.9 TDI. It's 2.0 TDI.

It's on the V5 as 1968cc so I'm guessing that's why he put 1.9tdi. I have a Sharan with the same size engine and always thought of that as a 2.0ltr. Will let him know :)

Looks like a nice car, but it's a bit too far to stretch for my budget. Thanks, anyway
