Just a quick question to the collective wisdom.... is it really a case of "slip on"? I have a knack of buggering up even the simplest of tasks sometimes and it appears that the 11500GS has just two bolts holding the exhaust on? can it really be this simple? I have read extensivly that there appears to be no need to alter the fueling. In my experience, if it looks simple there is probably a hidden problem.
Many thanks

The 1150 does indeed only have 2 bolts to undo... the one near the footrest hanger will be the easy one...

The clamp near the catalyst could come off fine, but some find that a good soaking in wd40 or penetrating oil will be needed to encourage it to come off.. the stainless bit that curves around from the exhaust towards the cat is part of the clamp....

The Lambda sensor screws into the top of the cat and sorts out most of the fuelling, so changing the exhaust can should make little difference....:thumb2

Single spark models may benefit from steptoe's cat code mod
