hey guys,
heres my problem, i think well i'm nearly 100 percent sure that my pivot bearings are gone on my gsa.
so i was just wondering how much approx do the motorrad dealers in ireland charge for this? as this is a small bit outside my mechanical abilities.

can anybody shed some light on this?

thanks.

andrew from duffy's is on hear,pm him:thumb2,i got mine done a year ago, think it was about 200euro,i also got too terrorise a belt drive800 thingy free of charge when they was doin mine.:thumb.ar14 is his username,

Find a friend to do them for you. Parts are about £30 and its not a difficult job. Just make sure you heat up the pins before undoing them....a two to three foot beaker bar helps! :D

I've a hot air gun and the tools and the Clymer manual if you want to try to replace the bearings yourself.
I'll stand behind you, drinking tea and giving you "helpful" advise.

€140 parts and labour (assuming its an 1150GSA and its the bearings where rear axle mounts to swinging arm )

P.S this includes a courtesy bike for the day
