Good to gearagh out - great shots; I never remember a Christmas like it & have seen a few. It's got very mild since; the snow on the high hills is as good as gone.

What is the story of those stumps sticking up out of the water?
Used to see & be intrigued by that scene every year when I did the Munster Rally.

At a guess it was all cut back when they made the reservoir? With water levels low it's all exposed again?
