Can anyone help, just need a small tank bag for my new 2008 gs, just enough to hold wallet, phone, few bits with a map pocket, all the tank bags i look at seem really tall which is exactly what i don't want

bike looks great pick it up on wednesday, off to northern spain in may

put in small tank bags on ebay, there some for a tenner or so magnetic too.
ye mite get thomas the tank engine bags too but just pass em by , thats if ye dont want a tomas bag:D

ugg.

Baglux city bag is what I use. Just big enough for a map and your essentials. Does mean your bike would have to wear a bra.

Have a look at these.

The SW Motech one had a base that is attached to the bike, the bag just clips on to that, very securely, and you just pull a release pin to take the bag off if you want to carry it with you. Comes with carry straps etc.

Just for info: The Quick-Lock fuel filler attachment (socket) wont fit directly on an 08GS.

I've got a SW Motech Quick-Lock Engage and it's great.

Not too large clips on and off easily has all the right pockets easy to carry.

Mine's an 06 bike and I had the same issue looking for a small tankbag.

Has anyone tried one of those Electrical connection rings - if so how difficult are they to fit and did you find it useful - I recognise the cigarette lighter socket bit but what is the other connection. What I really could do with is a USB connection through a tank bag.....

If anyone has used one I would be really gratefull to know how you got on.
