A search on tank bags reveals most of the posts appeared around the time of the Ark and the links are dead.

I would like a small tank bag to take glasses case, bottle of water, camera, multi-tool, visor cleaning sponge and cloth.

I would also like it to have a map pocket and to be waterproof (even 'ish) without a separate rain cover. (Unlike the BMW one)

I would like it to attach to the filler fitting on my 1150GS so that it doesn't get dislodged as I rattle along rocky tracks. (Unlike the BMW one)

I guess a capacity of as little as 3-4 litres would do the job for me, anything bigger will go in the Vern WB's which will be a virtually permanent fixture.

Who uses what and is it good?

Hi
Try the SW Motech Bags Connection. A range of tank bags, in different sizes and shapes, that fit to an adaptor ring that goes around the fuel filler ring.
I have been using one for about three years now and would not be without it. They are not cheap but well made. Map Cases are available to go on top of the tank bag.

Go to the BykeBitz website and all the products are on view.
