Anyone on here changed the rear sprocket for a 42 tooth one for better cruising /motorway work? Did it make any difference to acceleration?

When I first got my XR I felt it needed taller gearing. A year in and there's no way I'd change it. It takes a while to get used to being higher up the rev range than you might have previously been, but once it clicks its perfect.
