Hi all
SWMBO's phone is an oldish (in phone years) Samsung and is running Android Gingerbread.
She has a problem when trying to send SMS messages from a contact list. Android wants to send it via Google Hangouts.
If she just replies to an existing message from someone, then all is OK (no annoying message about Google Hangouts).
This may have started when I set up a password to allow an Android software upgrade (but it wouldn't actually do an upgrade/couldn't find any software upgrade available).
She previously had a problem with this phone wanting to send an MMS message if the SMS text was longer than one normal SMS 166 characters.
Anyone know how to get rid of this Google Hangouts message and get back to plain old SMS?
O2 in Germany were clueless about any solution!
Thanks for any ideas.
