This is boxing a bit clever; even for boundless:-

The linked file from the highlighted clever is an image attachment to an E-mail I've just sent (back to myself) using GoogleMail. All your 'sent' attachments stay stored on Google servers, it seems.

So you get a Gigabyte of open access personal data storage on one of the fastest webservers on the planet and it's free? Could be handy.

Small snag:- Seems you can make a clickable link to each image though not actually position these images in a Vbulletin frame.

Works for me.

Possibly there's a Google 'cookie' that allows me to click through the highlighted clever to the target on the Google mail server.

If it doesn't work for you? That's probably the explanation.

Shame; but I suppose it was too much to expect a free lunch.

It's a cookie thing.

Just done an experiment on the Mrs boundless computer.

Can't access the link at first on her computer.

BUT...if I log in to Gmail and feed it my password the cookie gets lodged...it carries a two week non expiry option if you tick that option when you first log in. Otherwise the default is that free access lasts on that workstation just as long as the Gmail page is open.

I'm still pondering if all this palaver could be any use for bike trip journal photo storage on the road. Certainly its a handy secondary back up medium for 'important' data. Much better than Hotmail.

Others can access your stuff but only those folk who'll be trusted with the award of your Gmail password. Might as well just Email them the photos in the first place......

Looks like the SmugMug business model holds for the time being then?
