Snow

fit big knobblies, go out on a light bike, as your gonna fall off, avoid shiny snow,,,, its ice

Rode a fair bit on snow and ice as courier/instructor/dealer worker and not always 'cos i wanted to...:D Worst= few inces blizzard snow on CBR6 with near slicks:augie least= black ice....

Can't say I want to these days as it's usually windy up here and there are not enough people to save you or a very good mobile signal:D

Would rather ride on fresh relatively deep snow and with summat singlish and crashable with knobblies. Sadly GS's are big heavy and a bit scary on downhills. Had a little crash last year on an snowy passing space after the engine braking locked it sideways..... sort of sums it up:D

Rode on snow/ice as courier a few times but hard to earn any cash and odd crash usually included...:augie

PS Accelerate smoothly, use engine braking where poss and plan very far ahead and watch out for wankers/dimwits driving too fast to stop....

Wear thermal knickers
Put a hot water bottle on the seat before you set off
Clench buttocks
Try not to crap yourself
Don't ride like a tw@t
Oh, lower tyre pressures mught help a bit too

The above is in case you get caught out, otherwise leave the thing where it is and use a form of transport that doesn't involve freezing to death :D

For those of you who like going out to play in it on your bikes, you're either mad or still young enough to deal with the consequences! :pullface

Oh bugger I've turned into an old fart :rob

if you are daft enough to ride in it when you fall off dont lick the yellow snow
