The track was wet and slippery, that misty rain and lots of Autumn leaves kept things interesting.

I went to Spean to pay my respects and pop a couple o £ into the box.

Then back to the pub for some hot soup

I took some time and visited the memorial area this afternoon,next to the monument, lots of fairly new tributes to Commandos killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. It certainly has an “aura” about it, bit like a church IYKWIM.
Been raining properly since about 5 this afternoon. Glad I got out when I did.
