I've been offered a 2018 RKS with stage 2
I'm sure I read somewhere that oil pumps are iffy on the pre 2019 ?

Fuck me...This cannot be true, we were doing oil pump shit on Buells over a decade ago...Nothing would surprise me though, the stuff they do to save a few dollars is criminal.
Oil pumps were always easy to get to and upgrade the gear...No idea on this new shit, but it looks pretty much like the old ditch pump to me.
Cost you 10 minutes and a gasket to find out.....

It was a bit gutless so bought a 114 Stage 3 kit.
Power went up from 80 bhp to 112 bhp
By comparison the local dealer offered me the "new" 114 model. Power was up from 80 bhp to 82 bhp. Wow!

I’d be more worried about the hydraulic clutch and it propensity to fuck the gearbox oil from the gearbox to the primary.
That’s what ended my love affair with HD……..bunch of cnuts!
Cable clutch, much as I hate them, is actually the safer option I believe.
