I think a regular social meet would be a really good idea. Presently I go to the East Mids social which takes place second tuesday of every month somewhere in the Leics area (Coalville / Mallory etc)

Yep, we do have rideout / meets in the Peak district, but these happen very spontaneously and usually get posted only a couple of days before the event (which might expplain some of the apathy / poor turn out etc)

A regular monthly social meet would be a good opportunity to plan rideouts well in advance etc. We don't have to have the same venue every time - just the date. We could vary the venue around the area to give members a decent ride / short ride or whatever.

What about the second monday of the month, which would make the first meet - MONDAY 8 DECEMBER - maybe somewhere in the middle???? suggestions / interest????

This months social is at 12 midday on Saturday 24 January at Hartington. There is a specific thread if you go on the Peak District section. It was moved away from the second Monday cos it was too close to the East mids meet on the second Tuesday and into the daytime at a weekend cos of the winter shite weather. Hope to see you there.
