It is like some kind of initiation with HD`s! I cannot believe that some will replace them with the same!I was out on it yesterday, taking advantage of some late summer sun in between f*ckin’ monsoons. You can tell the whitewalls are Dunlops due to the sphincter palpitations every time you ride over tar snakes or similar. They have to go!
I’m pricing some up now. I have 2 sets of wheels for this bike, spoked (laced as the septic’s call them) and the H-D Impeller cast ones. That wouldn’t be a problem but the spoked front is 16” and the Impeller front is 17”. I like the look of the spokes but they are a nightmare if you get a puncture when out and about (inner tubed) as I found out a couple of times with the Heritage!My RKS still has the stock Michelins fitted but they will be getting replaced by Avon Cobras come next spring

You can get Cobra Chrome whitewalls but apparently not in a 17" front wheel.Ditch the whitewalls and fit cobra chromes
