I must be a lucky lamb. 23 years of BMW GS (6 bikes, 1150gs for 14 of those years) and not any issues at all.

No, Anything it needed , it got . Not sure what that has to do with issues though

The fork stanchion recall ? I got the recall, but bought a new bike instead. Cant think of any other recalls
Cant think of any issues ?

Frankly disgusting, I hope you charged BmW!

I too have had a Miriam of GS’s over 15+ years and so far the only problem child was an R100GS paralever, but it had gone around the world twice in its former life.

Other than that it’s been a great history of reliability.

My now ex Harley however………..

I bought an Explorer when they came out. Kept it 8 months. Hated it. Had three recalls in that time. ECU recall, Side stand bolt recall and Headlight plug recall. A lesson learnt and returned back to BmW .
I'm still waiting for BMW to get back to me ref the headlight bulb. (2008)
