I've been a good boy & remembered Valentine's Day, so I've got a passout for tomorrow (whoohoo!!) & I'm off to N. Wales.

I'll be going to Llangollen, then along Horseshoe Pass to Denbigh, back south along the B4501 to the A5 to end up at Betws-y-Coed (hopefully around lunchtime).

Can anyone recommend a decent place to get lunch?

Not sure yet, Rog.... 4:15pm dentist appt to be home for, then we'll see......

What time are you setting off?

:)

I'm just after somewhere that does a decent all-day brekkie or sausage/egg/chips,etc..... but I like to be able to sit down & scoff rather than doing it on the hoof.

There are so many crap places to be avoided....

Go to Spinnakers cafe at the station in Betws y Coed.
Used to be the much revered Dil`s Diner.

Or the middle of Bala,by the small monument thingy, you can get a good all day brekkie there.

Well, I did 300 miles today & I'm bloody knackered. No way am I going out again so, sorry guys, I'm not going to make it to Rode Heath tonight. Some amazing roads & plenty of grip, if you avoid all the mud/gravel/water. Best bit was the Nant-y-Garth pass, oh & the B4501. There's also the A4086 bit, that was a bit tasty & definitely liked the A548 to Abergele.......

My left hand's developed a cramp from all the gear changes.....:D
