Both my wife and I (less often) do suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, She's suffering more than I do, but I wouldn't say she's overly overweight could do with loosing 6-8lb but not as easy as it sounds. Poor thing keeps on trying but no luck eating less than 1500 kcal per day and only shifting small amounts. I rally do feel for her. Anyway back on the subject of sore feet. She developed her "illnes[" while working for Starbucks as a store supervisor. Meanig she had to spend 9-10 hours (sometimes longer if some prat decided he/she had bad curry) behind counter serving angry customers in need of an urgent caffeine fix. She has been like this now for over 5 years. Docs keep saying that it should go down eventually. There is another theory of mine on this. She has size 5 feet and is very heavy on her heels when walking especially, which in turn contributes to her problem. I on the other hand suffer less often, generally speaking if I spend prolonged periods of time standing up on a spot without great deal of walking involved during the day. I work as a cabinet maker, so spend a fair bit of time at the bench. If I am out on site installing the furniture then I tend to suffer less often. So the Point of it is that gentle walking while wearing proper and comfortable shoes, is probably a best option.
