hi all, names halfjob(don't ask why!) live just outside cape town in a small town called gordon's bay and ride A 2007 1200GSA. raced enduro class for many years,last race was the roof of africa. now too old for that kark and enjoy discovering the thousands of miles of backroads in our stunning country.

bladerunner, i am not familiar with the durban based hiring companies. are you doing the route leaving from durban or cape town? there is a company in cape town who rent only BM's.let me know and i will look for the web page for you.

I will probably fly Durban to cape Town, hire there and ride the garden route. Looks likely I shall ride back to Cape then fly back to Durban.

Difficult to get a grip with the distances involved from up here.
