Hi Roly

Unless you sponsor the site, there are no means by which you can be contacted other than in a post. I'm returning to S. America this Oct/Nov; give me a ring on 01452 424545 if you want to chew it over.

Regards, Mick :beerjug:

... Watch this space

... I'm looking to ship my GS12 down to Argentina in July, or failing that I'll buy another bike down there, (shippers being reluctant to respond to wads of cash waved in their direction!).

... I expect be based around Buenos Aires for the rest of the year from late July, with trips to Chile, Uruguay and who knows where else during my five month stay.

... I'll be pleased to meet up with fellow tossers during the trip. Keep in touch

... PS. - You will now also find me on Horizons Unlimited.

... PPS - Mick O'Malley, I have noted your number, do you have any good shippers in mind?

shipping to Buenos Aeries

Good to hear from you all, shipping bikes no problems as we ship boats etc all over the world and have a friendly shipper (Premier Shipping and Packing) www.psap.co.uk
would be good to meet up in November as planning to arrive some time then
and then go down to Terria del fuego and Patagonia then up though Chile
My first worry will be clearing customs and not speaking Spanish!

... From Horizons Unlimited it would appear that Javier at Dakar Motos in BsAs may be able to help once you're bike has landed.

... I haven't spoken to him yet, but will do in the next week.

South America

Roly,

Don't worry about having no travel partners, if you don't meet like minded souls at Dakar Motos, then you'll be sure to do so at Oskar's HU meet in Viedma mid-December. See the HU site for details. Most folks then head down to Ushuaia for the Christmas festivities. All great fun.

Bede,

We're now in Bolivia, heading towards BA via the Pantanal and Uruguay next month...maybe catch up for a beer? :beerjug: Best drop us a mail as I don't get to check this site too often: emandhame at yahoo dot com

Mick,

Met a German guy in Ushuaia last Christmas, (Daniel, on an Africa Twin) who remembered you from your last visit. We´ll hopefully be in Peru by the time you arrive - perhaps a beer in he Rats Tavern?

Have a good one,
Hamish

Blimey: I'm surprised he went back there, having ruptured his spleen T-boning a taxi at xmas '03! See you on the road :thumb2 .
