Hi guys. Riding up to South Wales tomorrow to tour around for a few days. Will be around Brecon by Tues after a day around Pembrokeshire. Any recommendations re: accomodation?? Am able to camp, b&b whatever.

Thanks in advance.

Phil, my sister in law has a really smart self contained flat in Laugharne - link HERE but I don't know if its booked for this week. If it is available and you fancy staying there, mention that you're in the bike club with her brother in law - it may save you a few quid. :D

If you're around Carmarthen ring /text me on 07815 677404 if you fancy meeting up for a pint. :thumb2

Another lovely place to have a meal / pint is the pub at N51 52 27.3 W4 10 20.2 called the Cresselly Arms. If you're on the A40 and coming from Carmarthen, its on the left immediately after the bridge. If the weather is good, you can sit out in the beer garden overlooking the river - and they do one of the best chicken in white wine sauce I've ever tasted. :bow

Dylan Thomas boat house..

My best friends wife used to work there.. the staff are lovely and views and walks along the coast are great.

If you stop their you have to try the cowl :) trad welsh dish..

If your able, then get upto around devils bridge and the roads around rhayader. Not exactly south wales.. but lovely area and roads are stunning.

As for camping or BnBs plenty of both, but its school hols, so best to ring ahead if you can, but in the past never failed to find a BnB, usually the next one recommended by the one I tried first.

Have a great time.

Perhaps it's different in North Wales Rocks, but down here the kids go back to school tomorrow after having a week off.
