SP3 car powers source failed

For some unknown reason, the cigerette charger cable (the one with the built in speaker) failed the other day... Not the fuse, not the GPS... a mystery.

So I called up Garmin UK who said "I'll send another one out to you today sir".

How refreshing to have such a no quibble, supportive response. I was so surprised that I didn't even ask if they wanted the old one back!

Very similar to a problem I had with the supplied serial cable that wouldn't work.
I phoned Garmin technical dept explained the problem and through elimination it was decided that the cable was duff.

A new one was put in the post and received the next day, with no quibbles or enquires about how old the unit was.

Top marks to Garmin for customer service.
