Space for Inforad?!

Hello all,

Stumbled across your forum yesterday while looking for some info as I've just bought an F800 GS

Just wondered, has anyone ever fitted an Inforad device to a 2011 F800 GS? It fit under the seat on my old bike, but doesn't seem to be space on this new beauty!! Any suggestions?

I prefer the software based systems for warning of speed cameras on my gps. If you can extend its leads; you will find loads of space at the rear of the tail. Behind where the rear of the seat latches into area!

Wonder which Inforad model you refer to?

The K1/K2 tucks neatly under the collar of a helmet as long as you can live with any impact considerations - mind you, the data base is quite unreliable

There doesn't seem to be any space at the back of the seat - its taken up by the pannier racks and rear light cluster (or is that the alarm?)...

Certainly wont fit in my helmet!

They don't bother leaving space on the 800 for an Inforad.......because it's not fast enough to need one.
