are these a waste of time or are they functional

Bloke in our local bike shop rates them highly....mind you, he is trying to sell them...

Having said that, if they're as good as me Spada boots and gloves - they'll be fine. I was told they're made in the same factory as some better known brand, but I can't remember what it was.

I'd be interested too to hear if anyones' got a set.
