Spain 25th May 2014

Hi,

Just booked onto the Pont Avon from Plymouth to Santander on the 25th May 2014 returning on the 2nd June 2014 same boat in return.

Just wondered whether there are any fellow travellers on the same boat who might want to meet up for a beer and share some planned routes and experiences etc?

We are planning Picos and down into Portugal (don't know where yet) following our nose!!!

Any advise and recommendations appreciated.

The Picos are a must and I would highly recommend Salamanca, Avila and Segovia if you like historic cities

have booked a crossing for the same day but from Portsmouth to Bilbao! will be spending a few days in the Picos before heading to the Pyrenees and back via Caen. Hope the weather is better than on last years trip in late May!

There are some great easy trails heading from the picos into Portugal. We did a couple in the boxster so they are very easy gravel, but the lead out into some fantastic Tarmac twisties. Best way to plan is google earth

Going over via poole to gijon on the 27th may first stop camping in the Picos.
