Yes they were, but due to the high price of a barrel of crude they decided to lower them on March 7th to 110kph. The cost of changing the signs ran something like 230,000€. The Government now deem that with the crude price lower, some 450 Mil € has been saved (don´t ask me how they calculate that) and reduced road deaths in many areas, it´s time to put them up again!
Road fines of 100€ are being given for speeds of between 121 and 150.
