I have just fitted a set of x country wheels to my x challenge, the rear wheel is now a 19" instead of the origional 18", does anyone know how to change the computer setting from (18" , 2109) to the new 19" wheel, speedo is obviously now reading fast.

Speedo would read slow if it was a 19 inch wheel, cause larger wheels turn slower.

XCountry has a 17 inch rear wheel, and a 19 inch front ... as opposed to the 18 and 21 on the X-Challenge, you need to adjust the speedo to read from a 17 inch wheel

Doh, yep my mistake 17" rear, 19" front, still need to know how to change the speedo though

yw ... its amazing what you can pick up when you've got too much down time, its not a procedure i ever wanted to do myself i was looking for info on the speed sensor ring when i saw this

Only changed the wheels myself in order to use the bike for commuting, still got my offroad wheels for the weekends

I've got two sets too, one for rallies and one for "normal" riding, when i get to take the bike to work i can do half the trip on lanes tho i get funny looks walking into the office when its been muddy
