speedo died

Any ideas why my speedo would suddenly just stop workin?
No other probs

Had that problem on a R1150GS and it turned out to be a broken cable. Disconnect down at the wheel and if I remember it just pulls out and you can guess where the break is. Cheep to get a new one.

Sensor cable to the rear wheel is probably knackered.

It could just be crap between the sensor and the wheel. Speedo is driven off the back wheel, mine packs up every other timeI go off roading.

Try giving the bike a wash before buying any bits
