speedo not working /fuse or sensor

first time out on the bike today since two weeks ago ,when the speedo was working .
noticed today its not working ,dont have a manual at the moment ,so would it be something as simple as a fuse ,and where are the fuses located .
as thats what ill check first tommorow .
2001 road king model .

ill just do a google search in a minute as well .
but it will give you boys something to do

Speedo cable snapped?

doesnt have a cable .
im certain its the fuse ,as someone else had the same problem after connetcing to a battery charger

...of course, it's in the tank.....been a long day..

you have pished the bike off by trying to sell
the speedo pick up is just in front of the starter motor and the fuses are under the seat

got to the fuse box ,but its plastic (or plarstic if your from the home counties or shires ).
its a bastard to get off,yes i know its only a plastic /plarstic cover ,but it wont budge.
ill look at it in the morning with fresh eyes (or bloodshot more likely).

But he does have the far superior Twin Cam. This means that chap with the flag will have broken into a run.
