Spend a weekend in June with Nick Sanders and Touratech UK's MD Nick Plumb

Shop keeping was your profession once, Dakar riding wasn't though.[/QUOTE

No it wasn't.. and I turned down the Marketing Manager badge, as there were only 4 staff and I don't need the ego BS.
I don't believe I said Nick couldn't ride, however as far as providing "entertainment" then I'd rather listen to someone who had been somewhere and seen something, rather than ridden passed.
Both Nicks ride well, but they don't ride in a style I find appealing or interesting.
They are ignorant of what I'd want from an adventure is what I'm saying and I have met both, so have the advantage of personal knowledge on this.

This is my last comment on the matter as I refuse to give this any publicity in this forum. Put it in Vendors.

I don't think it should be in this forum section, nor should flogging the DVD. They should be in vendors.

As for spending £200 to have a weekend with them... nothing could be better.

'Managing Director'... of a shop!

Agree

Jesus Christ...how big must your ego be to put yourself up for this? Would anybody like to give me £200 to spend the weekend in my company? No, fuck off, actually!

The sad thing is, I bet some sorry arsed, sycophantic dribbling idiots will do it. Oh well, I guess we all have to earn a crust. :blast

Having spent many hours with Nick Plumb when I helped out in his and SP's 2003 Dakar entry, I would have thought his company during the weekend in question most interesting. :thumb

Can't speak or say anything positive for the other guy though.
