just got a spIII with all the bits used it in the car the other day the speaker is built into the plug which is difficult to hear (road noise, radio, ect), is there a speaker i can use? (not earplug) i need to mount it by my head so i can hear it,also what is the correct impedance? dont want to damage the unit.
many thanks

I never have a problem hearing mine in the car, are you sure that you have the volume set to max?:nenau Either that or just turn the radio down:augie

If it's anything like the Quest there's a volume control on the unit (may be in the menus for the SPIII) and on the ciggy lighter plug in thing. Are you sure you've got both turned up?

the vol on the sp was turned up max didnt know there was one on the speaker unit,if i cant find an alternitive i will have to turn the radio down:blast
