Who else witnessed the sole Spitfire display this afternoon above the Abbey Stadiumarea in Redditch .
Lasted about 20 minutes, right above our house as well.
We had just sat down for lunch, and we heard that very distinctive engine, I said to the kids that "that sounds just like a Spitfire".
Then a few moments later it roared over the roof of the house, really low too. Simply feckin awesome....
Loop the loops, a few victory rolls, nose dives and quite a few "very" low fly bys, in fact quite surprised that they had permission to fly that low to be honest.
Then with a wave of the wings, of it flew.....what a great sight.
