Any one fitted these, I was in Scotland last week and due to the constant wet weather had to throw away a set of gloves!
Just wondering if fitting these spoilers would have kept the rain off, I find that the BMW hand protectors are a little short and rain is catching my hands.

Ive seen these (at the bottom of the page)

Also, looking at new gloves now..........any ideas?
I like the look of the BMW pro winter gloves.

hi.

not got hand guard extendors (yet ;) ), but i imagine they will certainly improve things.

I also use the BMW pro winter gloves, and they are awesome. not once have i had any leakage, and they keep your hand nice and warm too.

just don't get them dirty because it says they can't be washed!

The touratech extra bits work for me - I do a 130 daily commute in all weathers. These little bits of plastic do make a difference. As for gloves, the Hein Gericke HG Pathan 3 finger gloves (about £40) keep the hands cosy and dry.

See if you have a local dealer for Halvarssons gloves. They are the biz. Made in sweden for snowmobile riders. Tried them at the show and they are brilliant and their winter glove is only £32!!.
The website is ww.jofama.se

alternatively, how about fitting a pair of ATV bar mitts-they fit over the hand protectors without mods and cost about £40 i think. i keep mine on all year round now so i can wear summer gloves up to january (and they keep ice out of the starter button).

Have you got any pics of the spoilers on, or any pics of the bar mitts?

Thanks :thumb

As I am from Sweden I know what winter is :D There is also gloves with electrical heating. www.touring.se has one of these. Klick on "Kroppen" (body) and after that "Handskar" (gloves) and "Nästa sida" (next page") and look at item no. 12-5216. You can call them on +46 241-79 39 50.

hi Stuart, these simple cheapish extenders seems to be an improvement.
although I managed to break one of mine after an offtarmac excursion.
althoough ,i don't think i like the way they are fixed by the horrible nuts and bolts.

I had some and they worked ok but I reckon that I could make some easily enough out of a plastic oil can / washing up liquid container or similar and some self tappers to mount them.
