Spoked Wheels and Security Chains?

Just about to fit a ground anchor in garage and just wondering if anyone has had any issues with security chain warped/damaged/bent spoked wheels when chain put through them and secured to ground anchor in this way????

Chain is an Almax III.

Nope... in 30 odd years never happened, as you will be attaching it around the rim !

I use an Almax III with the HP2 and it is fine, no issues at all through both spoked wheels, for the Adv I go around a fork leg above the fork brace

Just checking. Will have a play with various ways of threading through bike and anchor. Cheers.

Through the rear spindle if the chain fits.

The Almax III is too big to go through the rear spindle You can use a lesser chain and this makes an ideal lock through point but they are not up to the Almax standard

I've got and Almax III and a groundhog anchor. It works well, just don't clobber anything made out of Ally with the chain because it will put a lovely dent in it.....................how do I know this
