is this a common problem on acceleration my screen vibrates and makes a loud rattling noise. its all tight but still seems to vibrate but only on acceleration any help or comments welcome

Get a louder exhaust:D:D or ear plugs. Mine sqeaks a little if I really listen for it, (mind ewe I have a segam screen fitted :thumb2 that was the reason for me listening in the first place) But when ewe have two fecking big pistons going ten to the dozen what do you expect.
Check all the spacers and guides are in the correct order as when I changed my screen I dropped the left one and put it back together in the the wrong order:blast
Worth a look i reckon, don't ask me the right way around mind, as it was two years ago.

Mine used to squeak, just nipped it up and it's been fine ever since. :)

my screen used to vibrate, know how you feel it used to annoy the hell out of me. traced the problem to the pivot points in the centre area of the screen where it attatches to the metal bar mount. there was a small amount of play side to side. removed the sreen and slid on 2 small o rings to the pivot points to act as spacers, worked well had no problems since.
hope this helps

Is it an early bike?

MBW changed the mounts twig mentioned from plastic to metal at one point as they had a tendency to rattle and then shear.

yes its a 2004 model thanks for all advice. Twig i did notice play where you said so will try your solution this weekend thanks

I don't think my 07 has the two little mounts metal. I think they are plastic. I'll check.

Rattle 95% gone with the Touratech screen "push" thingy.

But I bet little o-rings will further help.

cheers boys tightened up to torx screws and no noise or vibration than again i also took the baffle out of my remus so i can't hear anything!!!!!!!!!!! seriously sorted will get afew rubber rings to help.thanks
