It surely does !! After the demise of my 650 twin I maybe looking for something smaller and lighter, if my wrist heals ok. Where did you find that picture? The only ones I have seen have a twin seat.
 
I had a sr 500 many moons ago If I remember right they have a decommpressor on the right of the bars for ease of starting for a while I bolted a chariot to it ah the good old days, thank goodness for the electric foot on all my bikes since :rob

Why replace the front disc with a drum then not bother to grind off the disc carrier or mudguard mounts from the fork leg? :nenau

AFAIK the original picture was part of Yamaha's marketing campaign when the 400 was releaunced, they commisioned custom houses to chop them and used the bikes at launch.
