It surely does !! After the demise of my 650 twin I maybe looking for something smaller and lighter, if my wrist heals ok. Where did you find that picture? The only ones I have seen have a twin seat.

I had a sr 500 many moons ago If I remember right they have a decommpressor on the right of the bars for ease of starting for a while I bolted a chariot to it ah the good old days, thank goodness for the electric foot on all my bikes since 
Why replace the front disc with a drum then not bother to grind off the disc carrier or mudguard mounts from the fork leg?

AFAIK the original picture was part of Yamaha's marketing campaign when the 400 was releaunced, they commisioned custom houses to chop them and used the bikes at launch.
