Sri Lanka by tuktuk

Enjoyed that, thanks. I always say, if you don't fancy India because of its reputation try Sri Lanka. The people are more friendly, easy going and there's so much to see on a lovely little island.

That was a great read, thanks (y)
I mentioned the tuk-tuk thing to the missus, who has experience of them from her visits to Kenya, and she didn’t reject it out of hand so you never know…..

Great RR (TTR?), thanks for taking the time to share.

Loved SL - we did have a car and driver though!

Tuk-tuks are brought into the UK - see here and here.

If I had a larger garage, one would be in it!

We loved Sri Lanka because there’s plenty to see and do if you don’t want to sit around a pool. This statue is across from the tsunami memorial, the low hand was the first wave that rolled in and the other hand was the second wave, unbelievable, houses are still empty and fenced off, the people never found.

A most enjoyable read about your trip around a country by a very different means of transport. Great photos as well.🍻
