ST Test - Classic Bike Guide

The September Edition of Classic Bike Guide hit the mat this morning
They are testing three 'classic' twins:
1983 BMW R80ST
1981 Moto Guzzi 850cc 'Le Mans' Mk2
1980 Ducati 864cc 'Darmah 900 SS'.
Sounds as though they have been to Proff's shed

Just got in from work Bob and my copies in the letterbox smasheroony think Ill keep it till bathtime.(PS my wife got me a subscription for this mag last Chrimbo and I gave her a bolliking cause it was the wrong mag " Classic Bike " was my preffered one,might forgive her now).
A bloody disgace.
Twice they call it an R80RT, and it is fitted with twin disk setup, but apparently it stops real good with the single disk.
I bet they never even rode it.

Yes - I wasn't impressed. Certainly not worth waiting for.
The mag hasn't been the same since 'Biffa' Britton left to become Editor of 'Old Bike Mart'.
I have the subscription renewal letter on the desk here, I haven't decided whether I can live without it or not
.
I also have the Sub renewal for Motorcycle Sport & Leisure. I'll re-new that one, though its a pale shadow of what it was back in the 60s
